Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Mouritsen’s college career started at the University of Utah, where he completed his undergraduate degree. Following graduation, he pursued his dental doctorate at the Roseman University School of Health Sciences. Today, he has been a part of the oral healthcare field for over five years now, with hopefully many more to come.
What Kind of Advanced Dental Training Do You Have?
Continuing education is a big priority for Dr. Mouritsen! He is a proud member of Spear Education, and he’s also attended state-of-the-art digital training for CEREC same-day technology. Regularly elevating his clinical skillset allows him to serve more patients effectively and provide a greater variety of services here at Pelican Landing Dental.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Mouritsen has been happily married to the love of his life for well over a decade so far. When they got married, their dream was to have 12 children – and they’re halfway there with six beautiful daughters! As for hobbies, he enjoys working out, biking, running, swimming, and staying active in general. He regularly competes in triathlons to push himself physically. He also loves upgrading his cars and (of course) spending quality time with loved ones. Going to the beach (or Grandma’s pool) is always a fun event for the whole family, and they play at the park often too.
