Meet Your Bonita Springs Dentist Lacy Gilbert DMD, MICOI, FAGD
Dr. Lacy Gilbert graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. She completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at UCLA and earned a Mastership in Dental Implants, as well as a Fellowship in General Dentistry – which requires 500 hrs of continuing education and passing a comprehensive written exam!
She utilizes the latest in 3D technology, a Cone Beam CT scanner, to virtually plan all of her implant placements for the highest level of patient comfort and predictability.
A second generation dentist, Dr. Lacy is a Bonita Springs, FL native. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Food Science and Human Nutrition with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Florida. After completing her undergraduate studies, Dr. Lacy went on to attend the University of Florida College of Dentistry where she met Dr. Rich. She received the Quintessence Award in Clinical Achievement for restorative dentistry skills.
Dr. Lacy has also received the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics Outstanding Senior Award and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Following graduation, Dr. Lacy moved to southern California to complete her Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of California in Los Angeles. In addition to traditional residency experience, this intensive residency also included training and education in complex dental cases to include periodontal therapies, oral surgery, and dental implant placement.
Dr. Lacy loves spending time with her family and watching her little girl learn and explore. She enjoys boating, fishing, skiing and playing sports.
