New Patient Information

Your First Visit

If you are a prospective new patient, we would like to give you an idea of what a new patient experience would be like. We strive to make the initial dental visit instrumental in establishing a healthy, enjoyable, and long-lasting relationship between us and our patients.

If you would like to expedite your first appointment, feel free to visit our forms page to print out the forms you will need to fill out. After the brief paperwork is completed, we will give you a tour of our office. We will answer any questions you may have and you will be introduced to our team.

We will then obtain any necessary x-rays or photographs that will assist us in addressing your desires or helping establish healthy teeth and gums.

You will then meet with Dr. Rich Gilbert, Dr. Lacy Gilbert or to obtain a thorough health and dental history and discuss what you would like out of your dental treatment. Optimal results in your dental care require a great relationship as well as a team effort, so your desires are considered at every single appointment. Our Doctors pride themselves on their ability to listen to our patients and we care about making everyone feel at home!

One of our doctors will then sit down with no distractions and evaluate your x-rays, photographs, requests, and records to create a custom treatment plan for you. Often no treatment aside from a routine cleaning is necessary. We will then complete any necessary treatments to bring the teeth and gums to the optimal level of health.

If you have any esthetic desires, we are happy to discuss them with you and include them in your treatment plan. We understand that many people are not happy with their smile and our doctors are fully trained to handle any cosmetic dentistry desires and requests.

Insurance Policy

Pelican Landing Dental, is an insurance friendly practice serving the residents of Bonita Springs, Estero, and surrounding communities. Dental insurance is a complex and variable part of dentistry. There are a myriad of different insurance companies each offering many different plans.

It is important to note that you do not need insurance to obtain dental treatment with us. Payments for insurance and non-insurance patients are due at the time of service. That said, we are happy to file your dental insurance claims for you as a courtesy. Many insurance companies readily reimburse patients for services rendered.

If you have specific questions about your particular coverage, we would be more than happy to investigate your policy and provide you with an idea of coverage. Feel free to contact us with any questions!

Financing Available

We’ll do our utmost to provide accurate estimates of the out of pocket costs of your treatment, and we accept payment at the time of service in the forms of cash, check, and major credit cards. If you’d like to extend the out of pocket costs of treatment over several payments, we are happy to work with CareCredit to help you find low or no interest payment plans.
